TV SHOW SYNOPSIS:

The host of the show delivers a brief Keynote message on various topics as well of interviews of local business persons. The show is recorded for Alexandria Va Community Programming and Fairfax County Community Programming.

HOURS PER WEEK:

Interns will work 15+ hours per week as a Production Assistant,

APPLICATIONS:

The interested individuals must:

Be available on select evenings and [some] Saturday's

Hard working, Professional, and possess Good Communication Skills

Posses Initiative

Meet required deadlines

Have their own transportation

Desired Skills:

Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

Ability to check company issued email twice daily

Ability to check company issued cell phone twice daily

Ability to multi-task

Ability to learn Sony Movie Studio

Ability to operate a Mini DVR

Ability to work independently

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities will include:

TV show taping and editing using Mini-DVR

Interview pre-Screening of potential guests

Use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint

Learn to use Sony Movie Studio Software

Social Media Management

Bicycling the show to other Public Access Stations

Scheduling free public seminars

Submission of weekly reports

Other Duties as assigned

Additional Information

Seeking: Positive, Energetic, Dedicated, Self Starter Individuals who work well as a team

We tap interviews at client sites. These will occur on evenings or weekends.
